A weekend in South Wales

When Maria's mom was here we wanted to go for a road trip to show her some of countryside. This time we went to Southern Wales. We stayed in Swansea (not much to see) and made day trips from there. Favourite place was Tenby, or Dinbych-y-pysgod, which means 'little town of the fishes' or 'little fortress of the fish'. In any case, it was a very cute little village

Nice view on the way to Rhossilli bay, close to Swansea

I think the lamb is about to go to bed. Looks so soft...

Llansteffan Castle

We ended up having dinner in Tenby - such a lovely place! Gorgeous, friendly people, good food... What's not to like? Maybe that they had ran out of lobster at the local fish restaurant but that gives us a reason to go back!

Moonlight over Corfe Castle

This past weekend we went to Poole in Dorset to spend Saturday at the beach. On the way back we drove by Corfe Casle. The sun was about to go down - what a view!

Central London?

Who could believe that the picture below is taken in Central London...? Zone 2 - amazing. I would have guessed further away. Lots to see along Regents Canal - well worth a stroll. Especially if it's sunny!

Arabian Beauty – Demi ‹ Fotoble

The theme was Arabian Beauty and the model staring in this shoot is Demi. There was something magical about her - beautiful and daring and with very intense eyes.

Here is the account of the shoot and some pictures: Arabian Beauty – Demi ‹ Fotoble

And finally we turned her into an immortal...

Fish festival in beautiful Weymouth

We ended up in Weymouth by mistake. The other weekend, when Maria's and my mom were visiting London at the same time we wanted to go to Bournemouth but there were no hotels so we ended up in Weymouth. A really nice place! The weekend after they had a fish festival so we decided to go back. It was a beautiful day!

Sand museum in Weymouth

Sandworld in Weymouth. They change it every year. Pretty cool stuff.

Jason and the Argonauts

A transformed Bruce Banner

Dr. Who. Was not a fan but the set was impressively built!

Alien

Star Trek - was always more of a Star Wars fan myself...

Icarus (the sun of Daedalus who dared to fly close to the sun on wings of feather and wax)

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Nostalgia!
