Christmas spirit in Covent Garden

All of London has transformed into Christmas mode. I love the holiday seasons! After seeing Oxford Street and Regent Street we went on to Covent Garden. First off is a Christmasy pub - doesn't the sight want you pop inside for a mulled wine?

Must be cold to sit there and play. No idea what his instrument is called but it was very nice.

He was happy for me to take his picture for a little something in return… :)

Inside the mall. Too big to fit in my Christmas tree but what a feeling!

After some shopping we went to our little oasis next to Covent Garden - Neal's Yard. I promise you, the picture below IS taken in London.

A couple of pictures from Piccadilly Circus

We went to see Les Miserables at Odeon at Leicester Square this evening and on the way there and after we passed by Piccadilly Circus. Lots of people as always, but because of the warm weather there was even more than a usual Saturday evening. It's fun taking pictures at Piccadilly (almost as fun as Time Square) and especially at night. Still haven't caught it after a rainy day, when there would be lots of reflections and this time I didn't take on any buses. But why do everything at the same time?

Does it get more London than this?

I walked by Buckingham Palace yesterday and could not resist to take a picture of the iconic London figure - the Buckingham Palace Guard. Haven't seen the changing of the guard yet - I guess I should do at some point. Until then, these pictures will have to suffice!

Oxford Street and Regent Street wish Merry Christmas

No exploration of Christmas lights is complete without the yearly light in the heart of London - from Piccadilly Circus up Regent Street and all along Oxford Street. We had a nice walk and I must confess that I have a little more Christmas feeling than a couple of days ago. Our Christmas tree at home has been set up and we have a Swedish 'adventsljusstake' but the Christmas decorations all over the city... Well, I guess it's the icing on the cake.

Regent Street wishes us all a Merry Christmas

Marmite - you either love it or hate it. I can admit - I am _ _ _ a fan... But thank you for sponsoring this years lights of course!
