Reliving the battle of Hastings

I must buy boots, rubber boots. I learned the hard way in the fields around Hastings (where we relived the battle of Hastings 1066 when William the Conquerer became king of England) not to wear white sneakers to a field (especially if it's raining). But the show was exciting. It started with the Normans charging...

The fight was hard



And we kept on clicking (it is as times like this I wish I had a better zoom lens)


In the second wave of attacks the archers did the ground work...

The English could not hold them back and William became king of England


After the fight we went back to the camp
